Conflict-Free Minerals

gold mine

Asmith is deeply concerned about the issues associated with conflict minerals in regions such as the Democratic Republic of the Congo in Africa. These minerals are exploited by illegal armed rebel groups as a primary source of revenue, fueling the trade of weapons, perpetuating bloody conflicts, and causing harm to local civilians. This situation has sparked international controversy.

As a company that values corporate social responsibility and respects international human rights, Asmith firmly declares that we do not accept the use of metals sourced from conflict areas. We also require all our suppliers to fulfill their social and environmental responsibilities, working together to establish a sustainable supply chain. We take the following actions:

►We do not purchase or use "conflict minerals" from the Democratic Republic of the Congo or its surrounding countries and regions.
►We require our suppliers to trace the origin of gold (Au), tantalum (Ta), tin (Sn), tungsten (W) ,Cobalt(Co
) and Mica in our products to ensure that these metals do not come from "conflict areas."
►We require our suppliers to trace the origin of gold (Au), tantalum (Ta), tin (Sn), and tungsten (W) in our products to ensure that these metals do not come from "conflict areas."We demand that our suppliers communicate this requirement to their upstream suppliers, ensuring the entire supply chain adheres to this commitment.

We explicitly state that Asmith will continue to make efforts to ensure that our products are free from conflict minerals. We maintain close collaboration and communication with our suppliers, conducting due diligence to ensure that the sourcing of metals aligns with ethical and sustainable principles.
We call upon all our partners and users to join us in our efforts to eliminate conflict minerals, protect human rights, promote sustainable development, and support peaceful and prosperous communities.
